This newly updated cottage sits on a private waterfront property with beautiful views from both the front deck and the walkout bedroom. Start your day with a coffee while watching for deer and other local wildlife that frequently visit the property.

Inside, oversized patio doors flood the living space with natural light and frame uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. The cozy living room, complete with a custom floor-to-ceiling fireplace, creates the perfect setting to unwind after a day spent exploring Grey County or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Guest access

Guests have private access to the entire cottage and its beautiful two-acre property. Wraparound decking provides the perfect place to relax, enjoy outdoor dining, or stargaze beneath the clear country skies.

Although located within the charming community of Glenelg Centre, the property feels wonderfully secluded, with no visible neighbours and nothing but the sights and sounds of nature surrounding you.

Just a short drive away, the towns of Markdale and Durham offer grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, an LCBO, local shops, and specialty food options, including custom charcuterie boards.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy another nearby property, located just 15 minutes away, featuring a large swimming pond with complimentary use of paddle boards, kayaks, and a paddle boat.

The cottage is located in the countryside, approximately 10 minutes from the nearest town. While you'll have easy access to groceries, fuel, restaurants, and other essentials, many local businesses close by 9:00 p.m., so we recommend planning ahead for evening arrivals.
